The Disabilities Board of Charleston County (DBCC) is the leading provider in Charleston County for services and supports for eligible children and adults through the SC Department of Disabilities and Special Needs (SCDDSN).
We offer case management, a developmental child center, adult day programs, and residential support to individuals with lifelong disabilities, such as intellectual disabilities, autism, traumatic brain injuries or spinal cord injuries.
Our extensive services and support may be provided both in the home of the person with disabilities and in dozens of facilities throughout the county and neighboring counties. We serve nearly 2,000 individuals and have approximately 450 employees.
