Employment Services

Employment Services assist people who have developmental and related disabilities with opportunities to work competitively in a business that is compatible with their skills and work interests. A trained employment specialist will match qualified applicants with employers who are looking for motivated, hard-working employees. Our people have skills in many areas: production, clerical, professional, sales, janitorial, food service, assembly, customer service, retail, and others.

Transition Supports

Once a student completes High School, and is placed on a job by Vocational Rehabilitation, The Disabilities Board of Charleston County can provide ongoing follow along service to support qualified individuals.
